​Seminars and training events

The Licensed Vintners Association (LVA) organise regular training and seminars on relevant topics such as ‘expanding your food business’ and ‘managing risk and minimising claims’ in relation to business insurance’ to help pub owners improve their business and become more ultimately more profitable.

Training needs are identified by listening to our member feedback. The LVA do the hard work of gathering the most relevant experts in once place so members go away armed with the most up-to-date information, allowing them to make real changes to their businesses.

The LVA has state of the art meeting and conference facilities at Anglesea House, Dublin 4 which is available for publicans to use for off-site meetings, training and interview days. Networking

Golf Societies

The LVA has very active men’s and ladies golf societies. They organise regular outings to golf courses around the county and beyond. The golf societies enjoy a great social and golfing calendar and always welcome new members to join.

Bicentenary celebrations-

The Licensed Vintners Association is celebrating its 200th year in 2017 and has a calendar packed with exciting members and public facing events for 2017.

Annual BBQ at Anglesea House-

This is a popular date in the LVA calendar for publicans and is an opportunity for the trade to come together in a social atmosphere away from the day-to-day pressures of the business to meet with their peers.
